I think this is the same Towle Perrin who was my best friend in the Philippines between 1936 and 1940. I looked for him on line some years ago but never could find him. If this is the same Towle, I used to spend the night with him and his family in Manila. I remember his mother well. She was a perfect Army wife and Towle and I had a firm regimen when I was at his house. I'm sorry I'm too late to talk to him and discuss our time in the Philippine Islands (as it was known then. We left on the USAT Grant in October of 1940 and my dad returned in Sept. 1941 to become MacArthur's Chief Engineer. Rest in peace, my friend.
